For each "Wiener Melange" some polished algorithms
Hello Cologne! We „semanticists“, that’s what we are often cheekily called by some interlocutors, have long since saved the date for this year’s Zukunft Personal Europe: September 11th to 13th 2018. With less than two months to go we are already polishing our algorithms to ensure a brilliant stand in Cologne.
Our motto for this year: buzz words alone do not make for innovative recruiting
We know them all – those trendy terms: Machine Learning, Data Mining, Big Data, Deep Learning, … But do all those technologies guaranty to relevantly improve a product or to be a significant feature for innovation? And what exactly does it mean when a software uses “Artificial Intelligence”?
At JoinVision we have been delving into the latest technologies in this field. But just like everywhere else: not every technology can be the perfect solution for each problem. Also, with the latest developments in Machine Learning there is no single miracle weapon for all challenges, which we have to face with Robot Recruiting.
Nonetheless Machine Learning is – like many other technologies as well – an essential puzzle piece for high-quality, performant and above all really useful products in digital recruiting. Also, our semantic parsing and matching products make use of it, as gear wheels in the complex transmission of semantic applications.
In the end, however, the big and small innovations are what counts, the realisation of new ideas and the perfect meshing of different technologies. Because that is what makes new products – without buzz words.
One final topic at the end: our solutions amidst active sourcing. Here we finally might have found a partner, with who we can realize our requirements. Exciting!
