And this is only the beginning!
Jo-Jo is the abbreviation of an already two year long relationship between us, JoinVision and Joveo, the US-based company, that is marking the dawn of a new era in recruiting with their Programmatic Job Advertising Platform. Their technology combined with our standing in the DACH region have been the perfect match since 2019.

But how did the relationship come about? Raja “Raj” Balachandran, General Manager UK at Joveo, recalls, “As strategic and tech partner of JobCloud we finally wanted to hit the ground running with our product in the German-speaking market and who would have been better suited for this adventure than JoinVision, who have successfully made a name for themselves in SaaS sales with their own core products.”
The common goal was quite straightforward from the get-go: rocking the DACH-market!
This, however, does not happen over night, let alone without any obstacles.
For Chris Dorner, Managing Director at JoinVision, one of the biggest challenges are “the different bank holidays in the four countries we are working from,” he says with a wink.
One could definitely sometimes think that Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Great Britain seem to be worlds apart, given the countless “lost in translation” moments that happend during pitches and definitely made for some good laughs.
Despite the geographical distance and cultural differences the team is growing closer together by the day and while a lot of processes are well established by now, there are some areas in which we are still getting to know each other.
With the countless successes, that were celebrated and lessons learnt, it is actually hard to believe that the team has only recently met in real life a few weeks back during our joint presence at the Tech Rec in Berlin.
And what’s in store for the future? “Pay-per-Hire, Predictive Recruiting and Digital Recruiting Services are only a fraction of what the HR world can look forward to. The market is absolutely ready for it – and so are we!” Chris and Raj agree.
