Chocolate urgently needed
Vienna in particular is going through difficult times. The weeks from November 2nd will be remembered forever, especially for those of us who call Vienna their home. Initially there was the announcement of another, yet "soft" lockdown beginning November 3rd at midnight, including a curfew between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., then the terrorist attack in downtown Vienna on November 2nd deeply affected us all. Nobody expected it (BUT: “stronger than hate #vienna!”) And now, on top of that there will be another three-week total lockdown beginning November 17th at midnight.

This has also left its mark on the JoinVision team, which has been working mostly from home and fully "virtualized" ever since the first lockdown in March. Thus Spike in his role as Chief Happiness Officer has got his paws full and had the glorious idea to send all of us some more chocolate, which should help to ease our nerves and better deal with the situation.
Did it work? It is to be hoped.
The sensation of chocolate melting in your mouth let's current events and their consequences take a back seat, at least for a few moments. And above all it let's us as a team believe that we can return to some sort of normality by mid-2021 at the latest. So that we can get together again, celebrating our successes and discussing one or the other promising idea. And above all, so that Spike no longer has to worry about our happiness via Zoom, Slack and Co.
